So, remember these little guys? They apparently have a tendancy to multiply because at least thirty more were born and dispersed this year.
Not only do they multiply, but they mutate as well. Here are the the cousins to the spool gnome - the icicle gnomes.
These were inspired by the Icicle Trolls from Garnet Hill that I failed to buy three years ago and regretted ever since.
Honestly. I like the gnomes better than the trolls. I can't wait to make a bunch more. Well, I can actually wait because I'm sort of holiday'd out.
I had really good intentions of posting throughout the holidays, but it wasn't until this morning that I realized a setting on my computer was what was preventing me from uploading photos.
We started early this year, the day after Thanksgiving, and really decked out the house. Here is a photo of our tree before live greens were hung over the doorways and on the mantle.
I was really proud that I finally figured out how to do my own bows without having to bother my mom.
I love the drape on this little kissing ball, which is now turning brown and dried.
This year, we planted three Winterberry trees in hopes that we can use them for holiday decorating for years to come.
Wish you all, my gnomies, a safe and Happy New Year!
Looks gorgeous, Kim! (I think we have the same color walls!) And I, too, love your icicle gnomes more than the GH ones - much cooler!

LOVE the icicle trolls (I've made many gnomes and love them...but the trolls have me casting on later today!). Yours are far nicer than Garnet Hills...thanks so much for sharing!

Definitely the icicle gnomes over trolls. Most definitely. Next year I'm putting you in charge of my house.

Yes, can you please come and decorate my house for Christmas? Love your ginormous tree and the triple wreath on the door, amazing!
And the gnomes, of all varieties, so cool, as usual.
