It's hard to believe it's Thanksgiving already. It sometimes seems as if the years go by faster and faster as we get older. Just finished some final touches before throwing the potatoes in the oven and heading over to my mom's house.
Non-knitting coworker Heather came over last weekend for the annual holiday picture photo shoot. She is truly gifted at capturing just the right shot.
Of both kids and dogs...
While I'm on the topic of photographer Heather, she is also the perfect hat model. We always get so silly at work trying on hats and trying to get non-photographer Kim to operate the camera. Here is the frost hat left out of my last post.
And the Telemetry Hat that I became so enamored with that I decided to make matching mitts.
Jim and I have begun some holiday decorating and will finish up tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow is a glorious and much-needed vacation day, and I could not be happier. Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving spent with loved ones.
And it's supposed to be like 60 degrees! So a wonderful day for a day off - hope you get to enjoy it! Happy Turkey Day, Kim!

Hope you had a great turkey day.
Non-knitting Heather really is a great hat model! If I could wear that cabled hat the way she does, I would have one on the needles pronto!

As another hat lover, I LOVE your hats! Can you please share the pattern for Gianna's hat? I never was able to track down the hat in Maine since the store has been closed every time I call. I even called the Chamber of Commerce and they have no idea why no one responds. Maybe they'll open for the holidays - I'm crossing my fingers!

You mean the black one? I hate to tell you, but I bought it at the same place in Maine....
